Following the success of The Wrestler and Requiem for  Dream, Darren Aronofsky is back with the much anticipated Black Swan.

The film stars the impossibly beautiful Natalie Portman who portrays an obsessive ballerina and her relationship with both her director and understudy.

However, Save the Last Dance this is not! Black Swan depicts a dancer’s descent into mental illness, and no one does gathering dread like Aronofsky!

Natalie Portman has said: “I think of it more as a psychological thriller, like Rosemary’s Baby in genre, if I had to pick a genre.”

Sounds weird. But knowing Dazza, it will be undoubtedly beautiful and bag lots of Oscars. Plus it features Natalie Portman snogging Mila Kunis which is worth the price of the ticket alone.

Black Swan looks creepy, and actually a little scary (I mean just look at that poster), but putting Kunis in a main role is going to be bad since she still hasn’t convinced me she can live down her That 70’s Show days.
